Blue Glaze kyusu by Yamada So 山田 想.

Wood-fired.
Unglazed porcelain inside, blue glaze outside with beautiful ash effets.

Why Chip ? because I don't use it as often as such a wonderful teapot deserves...I have 3 other kyusu by Yamada So, red clay and Yakishime/wood-fired, which are more "my cup of tea"...
This one is quite hard to find, quite small volume, such ashes effects are not so common...

Yes, very uncommon indeed which is why I was so surprised to see it here.
Still looking for my first Yamada Sou Kyusu ... unfortunately this one is not the perfect fit for my needs.
