Wanted:Signature Blends
I'm looking for samples of signature blends. They don't have to be actual samples, if someone wanted to spoon some of their tin into little plastic baggies and send them my way, I could do the same with the ones I have. I just want to find some that have good flavor, before I buy them.
If you're interested, PM me, and I can list the ones that I have. Thanks.

Also, depending on what it is, I could trade something of mine (not a signature blend), for a tin of a signature blend.

Hi,
I have a couple of sample tins of signature blends, Bolero and Birthday Tea. They both smelled a bit too vanilla-y for my taste. You're welcome to them if you'd like me to send them to you.

Just a note: Geeber1 has less than the 3 months required, but I'm heartily endorsing her. She's very honest...caught her 3 month clause well before I did and PM'd me!

Mary (or anyone else who knows), what is the "three month clause?"
Riene (who has been here one month now and is curious)

Hi Riene,
If you go to the Tao of TeaSwap thread, there are some rules for tea swapping. That's where the three month clause is.

Heh, thanks for having my back, Geeber.
The three month clause is just a rule that you have to have at least three months of time on the boards in order to swap OR get moderator endorsement.

Thank you both! I figured I was far too new to the board, and far too new to oolongs to give more than a fleeting thought to a box pass. I'll go review the thread, however.
Another question, if I may...? What are the "conversions" that I see under some peoples' avatars?

If you send someone a $5 Adagio gift certificate and they redeem it, a conversion should pop up under your Avatar: you've just converted someone to the wide world of tea.
You have to send the certificate using the same e-mail address you've registered your TeaChat name on, though. My TeaChat and Adagio accounts are on two separate e-mail addresses, so I guess I'm a little SOL on that one.

heeeheee for 3 years or so now I wondered what the conversations were too....
I thought they were how many conversations you've participated in on teachat but they eventually didn't add up....

Mine too, so I guess I'm out of luck on both the sending and receiving side there.
Thanks for the explanation!
