Photos from Nagasaki and nearby small cities

by Xell » Aug 1st, '12, 12:35

Started a photo gallery recently, finally can process photos, so it's time to keep my camera with me all the time.

For now not that many, but i will keep updating them. Oh, and feedback is also welcome, i'm still amateur who works on his skills :)

Lovely sunsets and a nice collection of cityscapes. I found "Nagasaki Surburban 004" particularly interesting with the terraced green slopes above the town.

002 is nice, feels like I am there walking the path, makes me want to turn left at the blue stairs

Thank you! Also like this view, i'll try to return there and try to catch more interesting morning. Sky is rather boring, but at least a bit of "morning" color left. In day time or evening light already is in bad direction, need to be there at about 5 or 6am :)

Even rather simple modern cameras are amazing, i really didn't expect i could recover this shot. Quite strong back lighting, really harsh shadows and bright sky. But since i really liked this scene, tried to take a photo anyway... and it was a success

One thing that I really like about Japan is that, in the process of modernization, they have managed to still preserve much of their cultural heritage.
