Anyone have any suggestions for some of higher quality cooked puerh cakes. I'm currently drinking mainly cooked Xiaguan (White Crane) Tuo Cha, which I really like but I would like to try higher quality cooked puerh. Yes I know that aged raw puerh is the best puerh out there but buying it is beyond my means and it is not practical for me to age it myself with my current living arrangements.

I've heard good things about this thing

At 500g and 22.50, it's only about double your current price for your cooked tuo

No I didn't try or order the Lotus aroma puerh yet. I'm going to hold off a bit to see what other recommendations come in before buying anything as I try to keep my tea buying to around $30 a month average so I don't want to rush this.

There are many excellent affordable ones on Yunnan sourcing's store.

I have like Jiu Wan's cakes and Menghai, i bought a variety of cakes from him and have not tried them all yet, none have been bad. I brew them like normal black tea 3-4 minutes and enjoy them.
