HELP with Brewing!

by tea-pat » Jun 4th, '06, 17:01

I just bought a green tea sampler from Adagio. I've brewed several cups and they all taste like hot water. I have drank grocery store tea in tea bags for years and they taste thirty times better. I'm not used to loose leaf tea and maybe I'm doing something wrong! Can anybody tell me how to brew a tasty cup?

how much tea are you adding to how much water? You probably aren't adding enough tea leaves to the water.

That's the most likely answer. Or, your water is too hot and it killed the flavour of the tea. But adding more leaves might be the more obvious answer.
