Timer for Macs

by TheJerseyDevil » Apr 16th, '09, 21:46

The Timer tool sounds ridiculously useful. I'd much rather just set it instead of nervously watching the clock for a few minutes, especially since I'm prone to forgetting. I would love to be able to use the timer, but I have a Mac. Any chance on making a timer feature that is Mac compatible?

I'm stuck using a pizza timer widget right now that is hideous!

As much as I hate to encourage the use of timing devices for tea is there any issue with using a web based one?

This kind of thing.

There is a widget for tea timing on the apple website, its super cute and you can customize the colors.

Here you go!

Thank you Anelezel! You have no idea how long I searched that exact page for something like that :P

Proinsias - I don't always have internet. The wireless in my dorm is rather moody :P
And why do you discourage the use of a timer?

Jersey,

I use this Tea Timer on my mac:

I like that it lets you choose left or right-handed. I have it set to open when I log-in, and it sits in my dock.

I tried using the Mac widget tea timer and when I enter a time and hit the start button it doesn't count down. It doesn't do anything. I also can't figure out how to customize it. Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated!
