Alternative to Adagio's Oolong #18

by EDS » May 12th, '09, 22:33

I'm looking for a good alternative to Adagio's Jade Oolong #18 which is sadly out of stock. I've tried the Ali Shan and Ti Kuan Yin, which are both good as well, but twice the price...and I go though alot of tea. What would be some good alternative jade oolongs that would be comparable in price to #18. I have no experience with any other vendor besides Adagio. Thanks!

#618 Tung Ting Jade Oolong from SpecialTeas is actually quite good... I know SpecialTeas doesn't always get great press here, but this particular tea was gifted to be by Auggy very early in my oolong experimenting, and I absolutely loved it. The price is 18.95 for 1/4 lb. The taste is similar too, and at least as good as, Oolong #18... which I also like very much.

Is there any idea when the Oolong #18 will be back in stock?
