yy, its a double walled spout. it was thrown as double wall then placed on the piece when it was a bit drier, not that dry.
i have a small handmade tool, looks like a tiny `throwing stick`. i shape it like a tiny vase. the biggest challenge is to get the right angle of bend and have the spout pour without dripping.
at the moment i am intrigued by double walled vessels. fun to throw and challenging.
the porcelain double walled pieces are so great. your hands don`t get burned.
i can`t wait to make some double walled yunomi for tea. the biggest challenge of drinking great shincha and sencha is holding the yunomi... hehe ! hot hot hot !
