Sadly, I have no melon. Alas, avert your eyes, and cover the ears of the children! :D

Sal -- I think I've set it for 68% relative humidity, or maybe 70%. Every time I open the cabinet, it's usually ~66. It's been rather nice here the last few weeks (75-80F) and also rainy, so I've occasionally opened the door and let it climb to 75+

Yes indeed, it appears it's as good as keeping OUT humidity as it is at maintaining it inside the box. Maybe the entire system still hasn't equilibrated...

Ahh, my order from Nadacha. Hmmm, box looks crushed, oh and it's been opened for customers and poorly resealed. Great... well, it was so bad looking on the outside, I knew I should take pictures.

Yep... so sad. Two bings split in half, under the stack (not shown) that came in a sack.

Hurray! The rest of the bings made it in one piece. Wait a minute, these are pristine.

This is where it finally occurs to me that some AH at customs pulled those two bings out of the sack, opened them, up and BROKE THEM IN TWO. What the F$$$? Seriously? This is FOOD. I hope they wear gloves. That's just DISGUSTING.

Well, confirmation from Nada that all the bings did indeed start in the bag. *shiver*

But what I really wanted to add here is that all of the tea smell WONDERFUL.

I mean seriously, it's sitting behind me right now as I type and waves of aroma waft over me. *drooooooooool*

Seriously, WHAT THE FU*K gives them the right to do this? This makes me so angry, no amount of tea poetry will calm me. If I could only meet the people who did this. . . .

That's just awful. I commiserate, and in fact I was also recently stung: I found out last week that a package with a few 90s NanJian tuos was (most likely) stolen right from my doorstep. The thought of some jerk stealing the package, then tossing it in the trash, makes me sick. I would honestly feel a bit better if I knew that the thief was a tea geek.

Also groaning because I just made a very similar order from Nada last night...

Folks please get signature confirmation on your packages containing irreplaceable tea.
