Hi Chip,
I was just navigating to Cory's artisan topic and noticed the messaging feature - and he had responded!
I hadn't noticed!
Oops!
Thanks again for your help.
Best,
Jim

Nice iannon.
Really like those mysterious blues come out in the 2nd photo.
And that matcha looks so frothy and wonderful - I want a sip!

I just received this beautiful chawan, it's creator Jay Strommen.
Once again, I apologize for my exceedingly amateur photography skills
(no skills really) - gosh I'd love to be able to make images sing like GeekGirl!!
I love the beautiful chadamari.
It's just a bit small for my liking at 4"H x 3.6W, but I love it just the same.
Cheers!

I bought this chawan by Ontario potter Steve Irvine last month when I was in eastern Canada. The Jonathon Bancroft-Snell Gallery had an exhibition of his chawan-s in their front window - including this beauty!

Normally I don't go for bright colours... but the raspberry tones beguiled me :)
