Adagio TeaV episode 24: Bacon!

by ilya » Jun 15th, '09, 10:21

Zack visits Adagio Teas HQ in the final leg of his tea journey only to discover that he has one more tea to review. Watch his indignation when he is asked to review Charlotte Ellett's Bacon Tea

I have one thing to say

First of all I came up with this one first! Then someone else recently after me created one. Sorry Zach but you got the wrong name in the video. Charlotte Ellett is the culprit was the other person making bacon blend

In the video Zack says it's made by Sarah Almon.
The credit says by Charlotte Ellett.

Thanks for the review, Zack! Don't worry about the name mix-up. And yes, I was inspired to try lapsang souchong after the review of the St. Patrick's Day tea that was supposed to taste like bacon. Lapsang souchong really does have that surprisingly bacon-like smell, so I wanted to try to create a bacon blend with it.

I am both intrigued and afraid of the bacon tea. I think it would make an excellent "gift tea" for the right friend
