Anyone ever mix Metamucil with tea?
I need to take the fiber stuff but don't like it or the orange slushy flavor. I did a little experimentation on a couple of teas, and it tasted awful iced or hot. Anyone ever try this? Any thoughts on what tea could be mixed with Metamucil and have the taste be tolerable?
thanks

I'd recommend one of the clear fiber mixes (metamucil makes one, fibersure) which could eaesily be mixed into tea. That orange flavor will just overpower anything you mix it into

Just chug the stuff straight as quick as you can and then relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea.
I cant imagine nay tea mixing well with it.

I'd think it would have to be mixed with cool tea. Metamucil doesn't blend when it's hot, does it? Besides, you'd probably want to drink it as quickly as your esophagus would let you.

Another idea, if you drink alot of tea would be to just use smaller amounts of metamucil and stretch the dosage through several glasses of tea to make the orange flavor more diluted
