Any recommendation of where to get a good pot of tea in Panang? Will be traveling there at the end of the year....

I presume you mean what is usually called Penang.

Penang has a higher proportion of people with a Chinese ethnicity than most Malaysian states so there should be plenty of quality Chinese tea to be found.

The state of Penang comprises the large island of Penang, and a small slice of the mainland. I presume you will be visiting the island, and probably at least some time will be spent in Georgetown. I visited Georgetown 3 years ago before I discovered Chinese Tea, so unfortunately have no teas for you. If you get the chance, a visit to the Blue Mansion is nice

I stayed there for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience, the man who had it built was commissioned by the americans to introduce banking to China (and nearly succeeded). He himself commissioned the Mansion along Feng Shui principles and supposedly (according to visiting Chinese feng Shui Masters) was totally successful.

The ambience is certainly special.

I have noticed online that there are a few Teashops in Georgetown
such as
Houng Tea Art Centre

Maybe you could visit this cafe and tell us if their tea is worth ordering online?
