Ohhhhh

I've not checked there for ages, and Gerlado is posting!

Cheers Sal

The mini pu chunks look like a great novelty purchase, and an excuse to buy more tea so I save on shipping.

I tried them at a Tea Expo in Kunming - it's makes pretty poor quality tea. Nothing to get excited about really.

Better to just dump a handful of decent leaves into a mug if you're on the move I think.

It strikes me as the "chewing tobacco" of the tea world.

i have the stuff right here and i have extra so i can brew it how i like.

i am sure at an expo you had it but was it made the way you wanted or in a way they thought would make it last?

just the shear amount of tea that goes into making it should tell something

and for that matter why wast the time and tea if you wind up with an inferior product.

chewing tobacco does suck but essence of tea does not.

ya OK it might be like instant pu but................

as i said before all the traits of the pu are there just rounded off.

and if you do get holed of some which i hope you do you might play with it and find you are still in the game.

i got mine from Gorden at dragon and he found it when i asked and sent it as soon as it was in stock. nice guy to go threw all that after a simple request.

i am pleased

besides it is pu and it is from china and made in tradition by i bet some old lady who is grandmother to some guy that drinks tea.

Cpu

No disrespect intended but this just sounds so unappealing. Not sure I could bring myself to even try it given that I can always figure a way to brew with real leaves. OK, maybe not at the dinner table in a restaurant but I can wait until I get back to my room when traveling.

cheers,
Steve

It reminds me of the Dapper Dan hair grease that my dear old grandfather used to use.
