I was so excited in ordering one, I missed the Dec. 1 shipping date. I guess "available mid. november" means available for ordering.

Nothing lower than 180? Darn....

...hmmm, that makes it a no go for almost all sencha...and many of my Chinese greens...

The search continues...though for sencha, I doubt if there is anything that will really work, especially when I factor in multible infusions. For most sencha, the 2nd infusion is only 30ish seconds, and I am not going to give up on multible infusions for sencha when often the 2nd is often the best.

But I am sure it is great for almost all mainstream teas.

Does that mean it's switchable to either 180 or 212 degrees? Or does it mean you can dial in any temperature within that range?

I think someone wrote in one of the reviews for the older style trinitea that if you wanted slightly cooler water for steeping that they placed some cold water directly into the steeping chamber and then used just that much less when filling the machine to heat it up. The mix of the cold water and the heated water worked out well for the tea they wanted to brew.

Well, I suppose if we're patient enough to be tea drinkers, we can be patient enough to wait for our new tea gadget, eh? Bummer that they got held up though...I'm excited to get mine whenever it arrives.

Honestly Amanda, how many times do we have to remind you to pay off the NJ mobsters that control the transportation. Pay up so we can get our TriniTEAS!

We do understand, but whoever is in charge of billing should not have charged the credit cards until the items were shipped so for them flogging is in order.
