I haven't tried it, so I wouldn't know.
This reminds me though of another thought I had awhile back, they should have an herbal pear tea available besides white pear (caffeine).

I'm game for any kind of herbal pear tea.

Does not compute.
"The flavor of a ripe prickly pear cactus fruit depends on the variety but include strawberries, watermelons, honeydew melons, figs, bananas, and citrus."

However, it has been produced as a flavored black china tea elsewhere:

The sole review of this tea indicated that the flavoring is very subtle.
There are better candidates for unique tea flavors.

Prickly pear cactus actually tastes like a strawberry in terms of sweetness, but with an extra tanginess to it. I think it'd make a great addition to the flavored teas. It might be limited in appeal to people who've never tried it, but as someone who loves prickly pear cactus I think it'd be a fun addition.

Personally I think it tastes like a cross between kiwifruit and banana. But it's definitely a unique flavour.
