I LOVE black tea, but,
I make kidney stones...LOTS of them. The process of turning tea leaves into an instant powder removes the oxylates. I make oxylate kidney stones.
So, I need instant black tea so I can stop drinking the brewed stuff.
Any help?!?!
Thanks!
Re: Instant Black Teas
This seems like something you should discuss with your doctor. I don't personally drink instant tea, but even if I did I would feel uncomfortable suggesting any specific product, as I would have no way of knowing if it was "safe" or not.

Re: Instant Black Teas
Instant powder, as in freeze dried powders or extremely ground up like a matcha powder?
Freeze dried disolves in water.
Extremely ground up has extremely fine particles that generally remain in suspension after adding water and whisking/stirring.

I need the Freeze Dried stuff, the process in making Freeze Dried Instant Tea, like Liptons Instant, removes all the bad stuff for my condition.Chip wrote:Instant powder, as in freeze dried powders or extremely ground up like a matcha powder?

Oy, I just threw out some black tea powder, I never even tried.
Trying to remember where I bought it. It was not "instant" as in
Lipton's. But supposedly premium leaf.

I think you are going to have to go with what's on the grocery shelves, unless you can find something on line that is helpful. i sincerely wish you luck and you have my sympathy.
