Wanted: Talbott Ruby Slippers Blend

by theteascoop » Nov 30th, '09, 20:12

So, I have a friend who is a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan, and I just drew her for Secret Santa. I had received a sample of Talbott Tea's Ruby Slippers Blend, and thought it was delicious and would love to give her some as part of her Christmas present. However, it appears that Talbott has changed the name to "Clara's Tea"

If anyone out here has an unopened sample with the Ruby Slippers name, I would be willing to pay $5 plus shipping for it. Thanks!

Perhaps post a topic under TeaSwap?

I'm not really sure how the blend system works but could you not create a blend which is very similar to the one you like and give it a Wizard of Oz name?

-insert name of friend-'s Ruby Red Slippers, or something

Thanks, Chip. I'll head over there.

Oh, I could easily make my own blend and all that. It's just that this particular tea was named for the 70th anniversary, and she would get a big kick out of it. If I just made it up, it wouldn't be quite the same.
