Hagi SO #9 Sansai Tebineri Yunomi and Kyusu
Signature Series Limited Edition
Yamane Seigan Tricolor Pinch Teacups and Teapots

This SO has been in the works for around 4 months. Yamane Seigan has created these for us one by one!

There are 2 “sizes” of the SanSai Tebineri Yunomi, “pinched,” not wheeled. A blob of clay is plopped on a table and hand pinched by the master artisan into a unique cup or whatever, very cool and yeah, a bit knarly and very beautiful! They are truly one of a kind.

Some of these are more upright like a “Yunomi” while others are lower like a “Wan.” They are quite variable in size and shape. I have to say, Mago promised to keep the best for us, and these are really incredible and each is a work of tea sipping art! These will feel amazing in hand due to the completely hand pinched texture.

There is also one SanSai Tebineri Kyusu. Really beautiful, in a “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” kinda way! I have around a dozen kyusu-s, and the Tebineri is by far my fave, it is simply da bombe!

These are all numbered Signature Series items (each box is hand numbered with Sumi)!!!

Prices are also variable this time around, so to be fair, they are priced individually. Keep in mind, these are very limited and very labor intensive. Of the few Yunomi I have seen on Japanese sites and a few that were shared with Mago’s ebay store have brought prices from 85-145 USD. Mago and I went back and forth on the pricing of these several times. He has offered a very fair price range for these that I feel is well below resale value and current market value as well.

And of course, you can combine with other SOs.

Ordering info is in the next post. Please note, the agent has adamently requested/required all inquiries and orders be through your friendly Moderator (me, in case you are new here)! If interested in ordering, or you have a question, please send me a PM. Thanks.
