Found a surprise in my Casablanca Twist this morning!

by mcpowley » Jan 23rd, '07, 14:51

So, this morning I was going to try a cup of Casablanca Twist, so I opened the sample jar, and kind of poked through it so I could put it into a teaspoon. Much to my surprise, I saw what looked like a ladybug in the tea...so I picked it out and sure enough, it was an orange dry, dead, lady bug! Has anyone else had this happen to them? I'm glad I poked through the tea...I wonder what flavor lady bug would be? Other than that, the Casablanca twist is VERY enjoyable ;)

I've found a headless beetle in longjing before. I've also found tea seeds in some cheap tuochas.
Super elite tea facist....

I once found ladybug(s) and various pieces of said ladybugs in some "organic" peppermint leaves I purchased from dragonwater.

After the first one, I went through the entire pound of leaves, spoonful by spoonful, until I found the rest of them. :P

Will very carefully check my sample of Casablanca Twist  :) It is delicious though, I hope I didn't get any ladybugs :)
