...and you have to pick your last drink. What tea would you pick?
(Originally, I thought of one tea for the rest of your life... but... naaahhhh)
Edit #2: Yeah, let's go also pick one tea for life

Re: It's the end of world...
I would say a big chawan of koicha. (Ummon no mukashi or Manten)
If it had been one tea for the rest of my life: gyokuro (Tsuru Jiru Shi, Yume no Ukihashi or Tenka Ichi)

AliShan Traditional from Floating Leaves Tea. Out of stock, hopefully my wish will be magically granted.
Re: It's the end of world...
If its truly the end of the world as in money will have no meaning in say a long enough time for me to receive the tea and drink it, I might just binge on a tea that is critically acclaimed, as in perhaps buy a chunk of 60's Red label and just brew into oblivion.
Or buy a large amount of Premo matcha and whisk and drink till the world is no more.
As for one tea for the rest of my life,
I feel I like variety too much to even contemplate a decent answer to that.

Re: It's the end of world...
phew, that topic title was a little distressing.
Now I know it's not actually the end of the world.....
Maybe detail brewing a nice bit of oolong over a month or so
One tea for life, hmmm. Tongs of some top notch new sheng maybe, it can grow old with me then.

For the last drink I'll take a da hong pao - assuming I'll have enough time for a good gong fu session. Oh, and I'm still in search of the *ultimate* dhp!
Tea for life... that would have to be a traditional TGY (40-50% oxidized and roasted). My favorite was from Floating Leaves last winter. Unfortunately, Shuiwen's stash was small and I ran out of the carefully rationed 2 oz I bought by April. Haven't had a memorable traditional TGY since

Hm, tough choice. Last drink might just have to be my CurrantBerry blend...
One drink for eternity... probably Osmanthus Oolong. I haven't had it in at least 6 months, but I can still remember so much about it - a tea that stays with you like that is a treasure.
I just hope the next time I get it that I haven't built it up too much in my head, and it turns out to be not as amazing as I remember

That's the worst! I've definitely had teas I loved and by the time I got back to them again, my tastes have changed enough I don't really dig them anymore. Always sad.LauraW wrote:I just hope the next time I get it that I haven't built it up too much in my head, and it turns out to be not as amazing as I remember
Hm... One tea for life would probably be a non-roasted TGY. Final cup... Something with a lot of vodka in it.

A good point though... if not tea, probably Scotch.TubbyCow wrote:Final cup... Something with a lot of vodka in it.
