Need help, how should pu erh taste?

Oh and you wanted to know how that Puerh tasted right? It tastes pretty good, smokey and with a "woody and nutty" taste to it. Not bitter at all, makes a nice dark cup, reminiscent of black tea. I like it, and seems to last a good amount of infusions.

On that note, I also forgot to mention that they also sent me a sample of 2004 Chan-Tai Hao "Jin Zhu Shan Yeh Sheng" Cake, Uncooked 400g
Which I thought was great, too bad by the time I figured out that I was brewing it wrong all this time (puerh in general) I only have enough for one cup to make it right. With that one cup brewed the way it should have been, it was remarkably smooth and very nice finish, sweet even. I'm going to buy a cake next paycheck.
