I love the Korean piece. I collect antique teaware with that particular shade of blue.

It was called 'white celadon' on the label.

Beautiful little pot. How much does it hold?

Are you the same Kingston whose impressive collection was recently chronicled in The Tea Gallery's blog?
Also, is the chop on the bottom of the pot "written" or is it done with a chop?

Kingslam, this is only your first post? It's funny, I thought that you were lurking around here already.

My new Ron Mello chawan. Been watching his work for awhile now. My pics don't even do the bowl justice, it is truly stunning.

I just acquired this tea cup. It was made in Taiwan. It stained very quickly. I've only been using it for two days. It is a small cup and filled to the brim holds 50ml of tea. And yes, I know, the photos aren't so great.

Wow that small cup is very cool! I really like that one, and the pics are great. Nice pic of the blue too! There is just something about the green with the blue, I guess Seigan knows that.

I'm glad to see such a fine teaware here
Beauty will save the world
I will add a small kazuwa ware guinomi. (Please note that actual color in real life is not as bright red as on photos. It's more darker red, like dark cherry maybe.)

When I look at this cup a pomegranate comes to my mind:) So here is a picture of them both.

And another one

I like how light and shadows play on the crackles at the bottom of the cup. And I think the texture of the pomegranate's skin is just fantastic. If only some master ceramist was able to recreate it in his works!
