Paco's Chai...Remembering a friend

by boywoodhe » Mar 18th, '10, 17:31

Paco's Blend is strawberry, cream and oriental spice black teas.

The story behind this is my dog paco a (chihuahua) of 19 1/2 years drank chai teas with me over the years. I would drink strawberry chai tea from a tea store near by that paco loved. I would drink the first half of it and then i would add more milk and a bit of sugar for him and he would finish the rest. We had a tight bond as a man and dog can get. it was very odd that he enjoyed tea like I did.lol He would only drink tea with milk/sugar in it and he liked his tea with a bit of spice/chai. I always brewed the chai tea in milk and let it cool down for the both of us. It broke my heart that I had to put him down few days ago. I got his ashes in an urn and I thought wouldnt it be nice to drink some spice tea for my beloved pal. I drank half and left half for him. I will always miss him as a friend, a pet and my tea buddy.

I made this blend just to show how much I adore him. I didnt make this blend to sell lots of tea. I just wanted my tea family to know a special story about a dear friend of mine who passed away.

Sorry for your loss Woodie. I understand your pain, we had to put my cat down this past Valentines Day. Very sad, we still miss our little Aphrodite.

It certainly is difficult. We lost our cat 2/14 of last year and I still miss her. Just think of the good times.
