Quick Hello from Los Angeles

by putibungsu » Mar 17th, '10, 10:21

Greetings all!

I am so glad to find TC! Growing up in Indonesia, tea (mostly black) has been part of my life. But I drink more green tea and oolong now.

Look forward to actively participating in this awesome forum.

Happy Patrick's Day,
Dina

Hello, and welcome, from another new TeaChat member from Los Angeles!

One thing that I've begun to appreciate, after spending more time on this forum, is how lucky I am to be able to drive just a few miles to some amazing tea shops, and to be able to see and touch most of my teawares before I buy them. It's a great tea city and TC is a good place to find inspiration and guidance as you go out and explore the local tea scene.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

debunix: I agree

Victoria: love your teaware!

Dreamer: will do :)

cindyt: yes, we drink it hot or cold. Restaurants serve free weak black tea instead of water, served in tall glasses/mugs. Sweetened jasmine tea is also very popular in Indonesia

Chip: in South Sumatra and West Java (Bandung)
