Just for curiosity's sake, I was wondering if anyone could give me a list of 'recommended teas' for certain times of day.
I know there's the obvious, like English Breakfast, but what else?
Thanks!
Re: Time of day?
I drink whatever I feel like drinking at the time
Doesn't really matter, unless you are sensitive to caffeine.
Then I wouldn't be drinking too much tea before bedtime except maybe a light houjicha or genmaicha.

Re: Time of day?
No fast and hard rules, but I like to start with darker teas - blacks and then move on to oolong and greens. In the evening I will enjoy either a white tea, like Silver Needles, or an aromatic tea such as Jasmine or Osmanthus. If I don't feel like a true tea at night, I might have some Cammomile.
That's me.
That's me.

No rules at all for me either. just whatever mood i am in at the time. and especially if im into a session of a good oolong it may be the only thing i drink all day with steeps up to 10 times or so..

Re: Time of day?
I tend to drink stronger teas in the afternoon, but that's probably just because I've just walked back from class and am semi-frozen. Black teas tend to warm me up more, for some reason. Green and white teas, as well as tisanes, are my evening choices because they're subtle and I have time to enjoy them.
Re: Time of day?
I find I tend to go for black or oolong (or a stronger green - like gunpowder) in the morning/early afternoon, but after that, all bets are off and it really depends on mood, etc. Some days I really want something sweet by about 3, and I'll go for a sweet or fruity flavored black, and sometimes I'll want something greener or lighter. Overall, darker to lighter as the day goes on, but that's definitely a tendency and not a rule. Some mornings I want white and in the evening I might want a hearty black.

Re: Time of day?
In the morning, I generally start with a Chinese Red or Dark Tea.
Closer to lunch, I turn to Matcha, Oolong, or Chinese Green Tea.
In the evening I tend to drink Puer, or Yen Tea.
Of course there are varients, but this is generally how my tea day goes.
