OK... I meant to be here at the crack of midnight 4-22... but women in labor have a tendency to wreck the best-laid plans. I ended up working all night and most of the morning, and collapsed for a nap after lunch. So, here I am, later than intended.
However, sources show that the actually moment of celebration is 8:52pm... the tick of the clock that will commemorate the 4th TeaChat anniversary of our beloved mod, Chip.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Chip for 4 years of dedicated membership. I have personally appreciated your knowledge, advice, good humor, and all of your thankless Mod Squad work (especially the spam-buster duties).
Congratulations on 4 years with TeaChat, and here's a green toast to wish you many more!

Re: Anniversary ParTea!
Thank you all most kindly for the well wishes. And wishing there was some shincha to toast at the designated hour. Mmmmmaybe matcha in a new Cory Lum Chawan? Sounds like a great plan.kymidwife wrote:However, sources show that the actually moment of celebration is 8:52pm... the tick of the clock that will commemorate the 4th TeaChat anniversary of our beloved mod, Chip.

TeaGift today, a Cory Lum Chawan that I have openly admired in Cory's topic. It speaks to me! Each turn tells another story, and btw, it is spectacular.
Cory's photo, it will be a challenge to capture as well as he has, but even he falls short of its IRL beauty.

Awwww, many more thank you all kindlies! *touched*
Sometimes the 4 years seems like ages, and other times I can recall my first posts and even my first topic. Oh, and the first "adding sugar" topic brewhaha I stepped into as a forum newbie ... I almost left the forum over that squirmish. But that was when I learned my mantra ... "brew what you like, like what you brew."

Whoops! Here I come; late to the ParTea!!! I got lost.
Chip, Happy Anniversary! I belong to several forums, but this is now the one I come to first each day. Your pleasant cyber demeanor and the help you give newbies has meant a lot to me. Thanks for doing what is usually a pretty thankless job!!
