This is my first visit here. Actually even my first visit to any tea forum! 
I found this site while surfing for an answer to my question...
When i use a tea bag for my hot tea, i reuse it again to refill my cup. Those tea bags are good for several cups. My question is... if i only want one or two cups of tea, then is it safe to refrigerate that tea bag in, let's say a ziplock bag until my next tea?
Also, i am interested in making loose leaf tea. However, since i have only ever used bags to make tea, then i am COMPLETELY unversed in loose leaf tea making. I would not even know what tools to use to make it, much less how to pick my leaves and know which herbs are safe to mix with others in tea making. Any one up to educating me in these matters?
Well, it is nice to have landed in this sector of cyber space. Will definately be back.

Hi and welcome to the board! First of all the "notify me when reply is posted" option is not working too well, so you may not get a notification.
And yes, you can re-use a tea bag.

+1 on Victoria's recommendation on the IngenuiTEA. I am still a newbie here and that is how I got started.
This board is a great place to learn about loose leaf tea - a lot of very helpful folks here.

If you do decide to pick up Adagio's IngenuTea, I'd suggest trying a few of their samples of green, black, oolong, etc. Whatever floats your boat. Some are as inexpensive as $2, others are a bit more depending on the variety of tea. The samplers are a nice way to taste an assortment of tea.

Another point on the samples - if you decide on the IngenuTea be sure to purchase it in the gift section - they you get a free sample pack of tea for the same price.

My first visit here as well. Glad I stumbled upon the site. I usually buy loose tea from a local shop but they have only tree varieties of plain green tea. I wanted to order from online and was hoping someone would know the best place to order from online. Any help is appreciated =]

That forum is full of vendors recommended by members here.
For more specific vendor suggestions, what kind of teas are you looking for?
And suggestions upthread to concentrate on small quantities and samples are right on target, regardless of vendor. As you start out, your tastes may change rapidly, and 8 oz of a wonderful tea this month may be 6 oz of something that makes you feel guilty every time you see it in the back of the cabinet in 6 months, because you don't really want to drink it, but you can't bear to throw it out either.
2 oz/50 grams can make a lot of tea!
