Tea on TV / NCIS Los Angeles
I just thought this was interesting and wanted to share...
I've noticed a trend of advertising within television show episodes.
Mostly they are automobile related. One recently caught my attention though.
The NCIS Los Angeles, Boss, Hetty, eccentric and diminutive, is portrayed as a tea connoisseur.
A most recent episode ended with Hetty holding up her tea of choice. A canister that had Dragon Pearl Whole Teas plainly viewable. Definitely product placement.
I copied this from another site re an earlier episode:
"told Hetty he would try drinking it. Callen smells the tea box and says it smells moldy. Hetty arrives and asks for the tea. She sees Callen using a paper tea bag and asks if he can taste the paper. Hetty says chrysanthemum tea is not perfect without wolfberries. Hanna takes a sip and says it tastes delicious. Hetty tells Callen the phone call he is going to receive will be from Vance. After Callen takes the call, Hanna admits what he drank was the worst tea he ever had. Hetty tries the tea and realizes it tastes moldy."
Has anyone noticed Tea prominently in any other program?
