Shigaraki-FS: Jitsuzan Banko Kyusu. Price Dropped!

by shigaraki » Apr 8th, '10, 00:06

Hi all,

I'm a long time lurker, and first time poster. I'm looking to offload 6 of my yixing teapots. Most of these are all my pots from my beginning year of drinking tea. I will include paper box from my new purchase since their original boxes were missing. I'll try to do my best to give you as much info as possible, but if you have any question, don't hesitate to ask me.

I did use only 1 type of tea for most of these pots.

1. Jitsuzan Banko Kyusu 250cc. I brewed only Teaspring Xi Hu Long Jing in this pot, and it made one of the best Long Jing cups I've had. But I just got a Masaki Tachi Banko from Hojo, so this has to go. It's in perfect condition (as new). The pot will not come with the teaboat shown in the picture.

I paid $150 for this one. I would like $120 shipped for this teapot.

My eBay is hiepbiz for credential. All prices are negotiable and I do offer better pricing if you buy more than one. Thank you.

Well, when you fill the pot with water, and pour it out, if you plug the air hole, good teapot will virtually stop the flow. It just shows good craftsmanship.

Clean up the thread, and added pictures for the Jitsuzan teapot. I also have 3 Yixing pot, $10 each + shipping if anyone interested.

Any chance you can show photos of the Yixing teapots and list what types of tea you used in them? I'm looking for a yixing that was hardly used or can be used for oolong tea.

If you are worried about Shigaraki –since he is a new member– don't be. I bought 2 of the yixing and both arrived quickly and safely. It was a pleasure to deal with Shigaraki.

Actually, the 60 day rule no longer applies to Shigaraki. This is an older topic.
