Hello!
have anyone tried this old tea http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/pro ... roduct=181 ? Not sure what to expect from it. How to enjoy such type of tea?
Re: 1995 Hunan "Fu" Brick tea * Mongolian Milk Tea
Yes! I just received 100 g "sample" from Yunnan Sourcing yesterday! It tastes like a decent pu erh shu. Shu mostly tastes the same to me, but I plan to do a couple of side-by-side comparisons in the next few days, so hopefully I'll refine my pallet and give you a more detailed tasting.
I described the tea in this post in today's TeaDay thread.
ETA: The traditional way to enjoy this tea is to boil it with milk and salt, as described here. So far I've just tried it western style without milk. Made several nice infusions. I rinsed it well first!
