OTTI Suggestions Topic, looking for tea ideas?
Re: OTTI Suggestion topic
As far as puerh is concerned it might be fun to do a vertical tasting of one of the classic Menghai recipes like 7542,7532 or 8582. If they could be found from 2006-2010. Would be interesting to see the development and changes.

How about:
Nilgiri
Ceylon
Chai
Keemun
Yunnan
Hunan
By the time we cover all the growing areas, styles, etc., we could be OTTI-ing for many years to come!
I just read the first post and saw all of these already listed.Duh.
Duh, I added them after reading your post!Guess I should have said so.
Oh, good, I thought I was losing it!

Re: OTTI Suggestion topic
I went to the World Tea Expo website to get some more info after checking out the little vid that Zack and Ilya put together, lol, and I noticed a trend of small varietals/single-source teas from unique places...New Zealand, for example, and I believe a black tea from Africa somewhere? I would love to see an OTTI featuring these types of teas/harvests, where a side-by-side comparison would really help bring out each one's distinguishing characteristics!

This will be a particularly fun one for me to share ... these are the top 4 fave Chinese greens for me!
Other suggestions though can be added to the list ... or another Chinese green OTTI.

Love this idea. That would be a great chance to really compare vintages.
