WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS OTHER THAN TO ANNOY ME!
Can it be turned off?
I thought I saw a switch when I first signed up. (many years ago)
But I went back to the "User Control Panel" I didn't find it. :?

I don't believe it.
I have a conspiracy theory.

A switch to turn off, "Last edited by"? No, no switch.
If you edit your post before someone responds
there will be no notation.

But if someone responds after you and you go back,
it will be there.

It is to protect the continuity of the thread.
So if someone replied directly to what you
said, it can be shown you changed it.

nonc_ron is going for the EDIT record!

Unless I continue with this nonsense.

LOL!!

What Victoria said...

This is a pretty standard feature for most message boards.

Hi All, I've been off the Internet and forums for 2 weeks.
(seemed a lot longer) Lightning came in on the phone line and blew up my computer and sound system.
(I'm switching to a wireless modem Tue.)
My new computer arrived on Fri the 13th. (Not a good sign) :? It's an AMD 64 X6 Six Core CPU and
16gb. (4X4gb) DDR3 dual channel memory.
It'll be another 2 wks before everything's back to normal. :D

I'm retired! :D
No games other then Mahjongg.
A little digital linear editing with 2 camera's running in sync. And some graphics work and animations.
Just for fun now.
