Very bad year and it's much later harvest.

I heard about weather issues in Japan - were there similar problems in China?

One of the worest weather changes in many years. White Peony were harvested 1 month late in Fuk Ding, hence the more mature leaves and stem leight to make up the weight.

Thanks, Tim. I'm glad I asked. I think I remember last year was also a bad year, but I might be wrong.
Is it the same situation for Bai Hao Yin Zhen?

Silver needle is from the same plant, just the bud of the peony. So, yes.... but not as much as the peony, since it included the 2 supporting leaves.

I ordered some 2010 Bai Mu Dan Wang from Camellia Sinensis and it's the best (from my limited experience) I've ever had.

I ended up picking up that same tea from CS.
I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had, but it's much better than what they were offering last year (although not as good as two years, imo).
