Thanks for all your comments ! it is nice to read you all here and also to see what is new by the others ceramists : it is encouraging to go on and to drink tea too. :lol:

I started a reaserch on "white" with differents textures : mat, brillant, rough, bubble, eith nuances from white -cream-beige to grey and so on. It is just the beginnig .

I am working on a "serie" concept : i make bowls and glaze them and choose the number of that "série" . And then I select the one that i am really satisfied with.
The other of that "serie " are just broken.
Here, for exemple, I make 4 macha bowls with tenmoku and ohata glazes. We can see that ther is oil spot and some metallisation of the glaze.

And the 2 others are eliminated.

Just here this is a very little "série" , with only 4 bowls at the beginning.
The purpose of that is to make some collection bowls that will be considerated like little sculptures . I am at the beginning of that process . But I do also others bowls as before !

Here is what we can call a " volcanic snow " bowl !
Just as the weather here in Switzerland : hot hot and hot so I dream of ice and snow .

(diam : 8,5 cm and haut : 8,5 cm / 2 shinos over ocre .)

Much of the nor'eastern USA can relate to the HOT HOT HOT and longing for snow and COOL! I get that in this piece! :mrgreen:

Not easy to take pictures ! but here is one bowl ( diam.: 9 cm and haut.: 8.5 cm) , the inside is sorft and glossy and the outside bubbling , like crisp corn flakes !!
