After nearly four days in customs my package is finally on the way to me

I went with the YM, SM and the Miyabi.
Will post my results, after I tasted them.
Hope I get it tomorrow... :wink:

My first experience with an international order of tea.

Good website with lots of information.
Nice shop. Fast delivery - took just 4 days from Japan to Austria.
Packaging is very good. Vacuumized. Not resealable.

I learned that EMS is expensive - airmail is good enough.

If you need a pot be sure to get the starter kit - you get a discount on this.

I bought a Tokoname Teapot and a Tokoname Teacup and I love them.
Sencha "Oku Yutaka" - my first Shincha is really nice.
Uji Organic Matcha was great and has a good price.
Matcha "Toyo Mukashi" - I didn't try yet.

I can recommend it.

what category is the teapot starter set in? I only noticed the one for matcha.

My Mom placed an order with O-cha last week and her package arrived in Canada already (very fast!) She liked the packaging and is very excited about her new kyusu and trying the teas she ordered. She just went for some of the more budget options, genmaicha with matcha, everyday sencha and sakura sencha but I think they are definitely good teas for the money from what we´ve tasted together.

O-cha was her introduction to ordering teas online and her first step into drinking loose leaf tea herself (as opposed to when I make it for her) So I´m glad they delivered a good experience so she´ll stick with it

good evening together,

i'm going to order several teas from o-cha in the near future because my fukamushi inventories are nearly used up.

so far i picked the following teas:

-sae midori
-miyabi
-yutaka midori
-yutaka midori kaoru supreme LE
-fukamushi supreme

plus i'm thinking about the "hatsumi" sencha and the chiran sencha.

any opinions or suggestions from you?
my kyusus are thirsty

Your selections are very good!

I have not tried it this year, but the Hatsumi is supposed to be very good this harvest and a worthy addition. Chiran is a lower priced YM and has been good to me.

Ujibashi San no Ma (Kirameki) is an excellent asamushi.

Warashina Supreme is an excellent organic asamushi.

And if you want to try a gyokuro, the Kame is outstanding.

i'm not the biggest fan of asamushi-tea, so I'll stay with the fukas this time...

but the kame will be orderd

have you tried the fuushun already?
the description sounds good and for 15€, maybe it's a bargain..
