Swap Tree Branches

by Ebtoulson » Jul 21st, '10, 01:22

I'm not real sure how this works, but does anyone want to swap tree branches with me? My tea tree is from Taiwan.

Sounds like a good idea Ebtoulson, but I'm in Taiwan too.
I'd be interested in a swap also. Looking for China.

My tea is in China, although I'm not sure how this swapping works...I saw the email but didn't try it.

EDIT: Apparently we just link to the page? Here's mine, feel free to adopt as many as you like. http://www.adagio.com/trees/adopt.html?planter=14_69

I just tried to adopt a branch, but it wouldn't let me since I already have a tree. It would be nice to be able to trade branches, though.

I thought it was more of a TeaVangelism thing, marketing. So you you would share the branches with newbies or those who have not shopped at Adagio.

Pretty slick idea.

Haha, good word.

I guess if anyone is on TeaChat, they probably already adopted a branch, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to put it out there just in case someone missed out.

The whole plant a tea tree thing is brilliant, anyway.

I figured it would have worked this way, but I guess not. O well it was worth a try. If anyone didn't plant a tree, feel free to adopt a branch from me.

Oh ok. Nice thought though.
I guess I'll keep the tree to myself.

Perhaps Adagio will see this and implement some sort of swap feature...you are supposed to get free tea (I guess from your specific tree/region), but if you can swap, and you have 1 tree from all 3 regions, you can just pick one that you want tea from. Just an idea.
