Chip

by Proinsias » Sep 7th, '10, 20:29

Thought it might be time to say "thank you Chip". I do appreciate this forum is hosted by Adagio and that Ilya & co have been more than generous in allowing, and enabling, this board to be the best place to chat about tea on the net. Still can't quite beleive this place is hosted by a tea vendor.

But above all that, thanks Chip.

The time, effort and ingenuity provided by Chip has really been the driving force behind this place. We have vendor review sections, artisan forums, OTTI's, group buys and generally a lovely community. No idea if all of these were Chip's ideas but pretty sure they wouldn't have happened without him.

Since you were appointed a moderator this place has flourished.

So

For all the time, effort, my frighteningly well packaged pu samples this morning, enthusiasm, moderation skills, teaday, and I'm sure at times frustration. Thanks Chip.

Absolutely! This forum wouldn't be half as good as it is without Chip to keep it going. I still am amazed that you can think of new topics and polls every day for the daily Teachat. Thank you so much for all your hard work and for making this such a great forum!

Err, I mean thank you Proinsias and all of you most kindly!!!

I enjoy the forum and the challenges involved. Trying to get you guys to talk about tea is like pulling teeth. OK, maybe not.

Thanks--especially for the OTTI. It's a great opportunity to taste tea that I otherwise wouldn't try, and I can't imagine how much work it must be to re-package and send every one of those!
