That's pretty neat! I'm sure I'm not the only one to think that they must get their supplies from the other side of the mountain in a more accessible route, and the more "scenic" view is done by the visitors for the experience.

I've been there, they do sell tea. It's an amazingly beautiful/terrifying place. The planks used to be the only way up the mountain and everything was hauled on it. Recently, they did add other paths up the mountain.
