What Else to Try

I got the black tea sampler with my ingenuiTEA (which I love by the way) and I really liked the Earl Grey Bravo and both breakfast teas. I didn't like the Yunnan Jig too much (not too big of a fan of peppery teas). What would you recommend I try next?

Try the adagio oriental spice...breakfast teas aret typically my favorite but from friends of mine who enjoy said type of tea, like chai...and that is essentailly what oriental spice is, just better quality...
But if you get away from black teas....Adagio has a wonderful Dragonwell :wink: :shock:

Actually, surprisingly I don't like Chai either...too peppery for my taste.

An assam would have the maltiness of yunnan without the pepper. Ceylons are smoother and Darjeelings are great. Keemun is quite remarkable.

Darjeeling...mmm...If you go Darjeeling, I reccomend Second Flush..but honestly...its mostly all good =] 1st or 2nd flush that is...

The Sikkim Temi from SpecialTeas is very good, and inexpensive. It's similar to a Darjeeling, but a bit smoother and more flavorful. Although I'm not all that well versed in Darjeelings, it struck me as being like some of the higher quality Darjeelings that I've sampled.

Finally, another Sikkim Temi fan. I like black Darjeeling, Sikkim Temi, and Golden Nepal. These are all high grown teas from the Himalayas. All similar yet different. Try a mid price range Darjeeling.

Chinese Keemuns are usually very good too.

Greens are great also.

Incidentally, I just got in lots of 1/2oz samplers from SpecialTeas...I've just tried Emperor's Red and Himalayan Tip, which are both amazing teas, but also amazingly expensive. The Emeperor's Red tastes too similar to Adagio's Yunnan Gold for me to purchase it again. But the Himalayan Tip was amazing. I also got Sikkim Temi, Golden Nepal, Golden Buddha, and Keemun Imperial but have yet to try them. It'll be an interesting day at work today as I try all of these. :lol:
I'm really beginning to love Chinese and Nepalese black (gold)teas. I should be getting my Yunnan Gold and Golden Monkey from Adagio today, too.

Though I guess if you don't like "peppery" black teas then darjeelings are always a good choice. Make sure you break into the Oolongs, also, if you haven't already. That's a must.
