Sugar
So I love the way German Rock Sugar flavors the tea but the only place I've ever seen it is at Teavana and we all know they're a tad overpriced.... so my question is are there any other places I can get German rock sugar besides Teavana and at a better price?
1 pound at Teavana is about 8 dollars and 1/2 a pound is 5.

Now now ... there is room in the tea world for all tastes!
Sugar and tea is always a hot button topic on TeaChat.
Seriously, more than 4 years ago, one new member almost left the forum after he got on his high horse about sugar, and those who added sugar made such a ruckas that this member almost left TeaChat for good. That member was me.
It was in this topic, a wise man named Phyl passed on his wine tasting mantra ... "like what you drink, drink what you like" ...
I adopted this mantra that day.

I don't know if this is the same, but Adagio has these:

$6 for 10 oz. seems pretty reasonable, might be worth trying.

Actually, I drink tea with sugar sometimes. It's good in chai, sometimes in iced tea, or in any strong black tea that doesn't have much flavor otherwise.
That's a good mantra.

lol
That's a good saying. I don't ALWAYS flavor my teas with sugar, I like to change things up though and my one pound of rock sugar is almost gone after only a week!
thank you thank you and thank you.

I stole this from you when I first joined the forum. Guess I don't have to feel guilty about it
Most grocery stores will have raw sugar. It may not be the same, but it may be a close substitute, cheaper, and easier to get.

We're both in S. FL and I think a close substitute would be "Sugar in the Raw" which can be found at any Publix. You could try a Greenwise or Whole Foods to see what other large crystal "natural" sugars they carry.
Good luck!
BTW, a lb. of sugar in a week is a lot! I hope you're brushing your teeth regularly.
