What music do you listen to (with tea)?
Re: What music do you listen to?
Ivor Cutler and tea this evening. It's been too long.
A sample:

perhaps a more relevant example:
Old cups of tea, though not quite music.

George....best Beatle bar none in my happy little opinion. Ever see A Concert For George...chokes me up everytime.
And I liked Bloc Party's first few albums a lot. Not their live show so much though :-/

Good list. I also find that that as I near 40, I'm reaching more and more for the mellow stuff. Not that some NIN every now and then isn't bad.
Today I'm finding that Andrew Bird is complimenting my tea drinking quite nicely.

I find this song very soulful, I love the lyrics:
"I was sifting through the piles
in my hand a tangled thread
each patient tug upon the snarl
is a glimpse of what has been"
and
"some hearts are ghosts settling down in dark waters
just as silt grows heavy and drowns with the stones"

YES! Ditto. I just bought the album "yes" on 120 lb vinyl.
I really like a wide variety. In the pop genre, I've been listening to a lot of Sigur Ros lately. Classical: Horowitz plays Scarlatti. It's energetic, but not unnerving.

Yeah sounds amazing on a good pair of headphones or soundsystem. I like a lot of tracks that have dirty stuff contrasted with smooth stuff. Like clippy distorted electronic bleeps and snares mixed with a smooth cello piece or something.
