Get back at 'em: have some duck eggs. Available at any Chinese supermarket. The simple cooked ones not stored in a fridge, not the 'century' eggs wrapped in rice shells as these would attack you with their ammonia smell.

Well, go to a Cambodian market in a mountain village and you'll soon find out about the local delicacies. For example:
