Hot water temperature

by egross73 » Oct 7th, '10, 08:35

I was wondering if anyone knows the temperature of hot water from a water cooler. There is a water cooler at my work that dispenses cold or hot water. I thought that if it were hot enough, I might be able to use the water to make green tea. Does anyone know if water coolers heat water to a hot enough temperature for this? Thanks.

Eric

I'm having some lovely green tea right now using the water from my company's cooler. Most greens don't need it that hot so you should be safe. If you can, bring in a thermometer and check it.
