Thanks, Chip, IPT.
Tasting #5 - I will admit I was not expecting much of the entry level, color me surprised. Not much in the way of taste (and I am using 8g/100ml), but plenty of other things coming to the party.
Good thick feeling in the mouth, nice coating, only a tiny bit of drying - more like salivating. Plenty of aftertaste and an overall feeling of calm. I am listening to some tiny ladies on strings named Amiina - is not hurting my mellow.
Guess that about sums it up - Mellow Yellow.
Can you tell us when these teas were harvested?
Parameters at a glance:
8g / 100ml eggshell gaiwan
Poland Spring (~40 TDS) - full boil.
flash rinse, 10, 15, 15, 30 etc etc.
I am uncovering the gaiwan between brews. All subsequent notes will follow the same parameters.
I've had 5-6 infusions without much sign of letting up.
