I was at an art festival on Saturday and had the opportunity to try my first sencha - a cherry sencha.
Now I know what all the talk about sencha was about! It's a lovely tea.
I just ordered a Sencha Kyoto Cherry Rose Festival Tea from Culinary Teas. I cannot wait to try it!
I also ordered some Genmaicha.

Re: My first sencha
Excellent. Actually, a cherry sencha was one of the first green teas I ever had.Samovar wrote:I was at an art festival on Saturday and had the opportunity to try my first sencha - a cherry sencha.

I am curious though, do you always drink flavored tea? Once you try an unflavored sencha, you may find that you like that even more??? But enjoy your cherry sencha.
