I have just finished firing some unglazed porcelain and would like to post pictures of a few pieces.
The first 2 are of 'store bought' porcelain. Unglazed.

The next two are from a mixed body. The mixture is 50% porcelain from Kyushu and 50% a very sandy body from Kyoto. I dug the Kyoto body myself. There are some impurities visible.

Thank you Iannon and Chip.
The mixed body is interesting. I think I will try to fire it in my wood kiln. It is smooth although it looks rough, almost as smooth as the regular body. I really wanted something that is a contrast to my Nanban type work and it fits that want.
