Need Pumpkin Tea help

by jodiklaus » Nov 2nd, '10, 19:26

Hi all!

I recently acquired a Pumpkin cream tea. It doesn't really taste like pumpkin and unfortunately I have too much to just throw.

Do you have any suggestions of something to mix it with? I was thinking either herbal, fruit or a white tea.

THANKS!
Jodi

I´m assuming it´s a flavoured black tea...try a herbal or fruit tisane or another black tea.

If you mix whites, greens or oolongs with it the brewing parameters won´t match very well and it´s unlikely to be a very good mix.

If it is a black tea, adding cream and sweetener might help to bring out the pumpkin flavor.

Sadly, I find with many flavored teas, they actually smell more like the flavor than they taste like it.
