The handle on the last set ruined it for me. My eyes got glassy as I surveyed the cups, then the lovely pot, but then ... Is that a throwing star? Sorry, not digging it.
I don't think it spray water out of the hole, but I think I can hear water in it after washing it with water flowing into the hole.

No idea what shape is the limited edition cups.

It was nice to go through this topic...

Time to time the celadon glaze is too strong for the body of the pot- I have find this cup in the kiln like this (not on the black plate of course but on kiln shelf)

As you can see on those shreds the glaze is broken clearly- so we can assume that it happened when the kiln was cooling and the glaze was already solid.

Looks like that glaze moved quite a bit in the firing. Hate when that happens. I have a Temmoku and a Copper Red will do that to me quite often, resulting in smashed pieces...

I am guessing this is due to the differing expansion/contraction rates of the glaze compared to the porcelain?

We also have more glazes which tend to do that but here it was really suprice for me -the cup was like bread crumble around around and in others cups. But luckily pieces were not stick together by heat...

Here's a small celadon cup that I got from Hou De about a year ago. I think they only sold 2 or 3 at the time. Unfortunately they took down the information on it before I copied it down. Anybody happen to have info on it?

That's one of his dragon cups. The design on the front is a stylized dragon playing with a pearl.

Ah great, thanks guys! I figured it was probably Xu De Jia, since Hou De seems to carry celadon pieces from that artist. But good to have confirmation (: And I was wondering about that design on the front.

It's a great cup. Nice solid feel for its size.
