I was just told by China Post that Shipping that normally took two weeks will now take a month. They couldn't/wouldn't tell me why, but that means that shipping will now take longer to get to its destination.
This is going to really hurts business.
EMS can be used, but it is a LOT more expensive!
Anyhow, just an FYI to those out there.

Hang in there IPT! I am sure that things will settle down.
The seemingly limited info available is unusual ...

Ahh that would explain why I've been waiting on an order for 6 weeks. Before that it was taking around 2 weeks.

And I have 3 orders that are up to 4 weeks now.
Don't know if it's the China end, or the UK end, recent events may make the UK people a tad more circumspect about deliveries, particularly if Customs were contemplating opening to have a look see!

If you take a look at this page, http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/index_en.html it has information on delays to Japan from China due to natural disasters and other reasons.

The thing I ordered was sent on 1st of October, I'll update when/if it arrives I've pretty much lost hope at this stage.Herb_Master wrote:And I have 3 orders that are up to 4 weeks now.

Re: Extended Shipping Times From China
So far it seems EMS shipping time hasn't been affected much. But other shipping methods from China actually never seem fast to me. From what I got in the past, 4 weeks is just a starting point. But I guess it's faster if it's from eastern cities of China to the west coast of US, and when the security check is not strict and slow on every parcel.
